About AKTC

Not a machine shop. A manufacturing backbone.

Since 1970, AKTC has built the industrial capacity to produce components that Saudi industry previously had no choice but to import.

Founded by Mohammed Saeed Al-Boshi and Khalid Mohammed Al-Boshi, AKTC operates three facilities across Dammam with the largest machining envelopes in the Kingdom — vertical turning lathes, horizontal boring mills, 5-axis CNC, chrome plating, balancing, and full equipment overhauling.

Heritage

Five decades of industrial leadership

From a single lathe in 1970 to the Kingdom's advanced manufacturing backbone.

1970

Foundation in Dammam

Mohammed Saeed Al-Boshi and Khalid Mohammed Al-Boshi establish AKTC, pioneering local machining for Saudi industry.

1985

First VTL Installation

Commissioning of the Kingdom's largest vertical turning lathe, enabling local production of components previously imported.

1990

Marine Shaft Production

First mission-critical marine shaft manufacturing in Saudi Arabia — a landmark in localization.

2000

Chrome Plating Expansion

Industrial hard chrome plating lines commissioned, completing the surface treatment capability chain.

2008

Reverse Engineering Mastery

Systematic reverse engineering program localizes heavy-industry parts previously sourced from Europe and Asia.

2015

Aerospace Certification

AS9100 Rev D certification achieved, opening precision aerospace manufacturing for SANAD and the Kingdom's MRO sector.

2020

Advanced Aircraft Components

5-axis aerospace machining center commissioned for flight-critical structural and engine components.

2030

Smart Manufacturing

Vision 2030-aligned transition to connected, data-driven manufacturing with remote monitoring and predictive maintenance.

Vision 2030

Aligned with Vision 2030

AKTC is a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia's industrial localization strategy. By manufacturing mission-critical components domestically, we reduce import dependency, create high-skilled engineering jobs, and strengthen the Kingdom's supply chain resilience.

Localization

95% capability to produce components previously imported from Europe and Asia.

Technology Transfer

Continuous investment in advanced CNC, 5-axis, and smart manufacturing systems.

Workforce Development

200+ Saudi engineers trained in precision manufacturing and quality systems.

Supply Chain Resilience

Domestic production eliminates geopolitical and logistics risks for critical parts.

Testimonials

What our partners say

AKTC engineering meeting room

AKTC delivered a 4.2-meter turbine wheel that we had been sourcing from Germany for fifteen years. Same specification, half the lead time, fully documented.

Senior Procurement Manager

Major Energy Operator

Their reverse engineering capability saved our offshore platform from a six-month shutdown. They replicated an obsolete pump impeller in three weeks.

Maintenance Director

Offshore Operator

SANAD relies on AKTC for precision aerospace components. Their AS9100 processes and first-article inspection discipline match international MRO standards.
